TendoNova Corporation’s mission is to enhance clinical outcomes for patients with chronic tendon pain by delivering cutting-edge micro-invasive technology that is customizable to individual patient needs without overwhelming expense.
The Problem
Tendinopathy is an injury that has failed to heal and is one of the most common causes of pain in the world.
30M
30 million Americans have chronic tendon pain (lasting over 3 months).
5
Five commonly affected tendon areas include: jumper’s knee, tennis elbow, golf elbow, plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendinopathy, and other tendons.
9M
9 million Americans fail to respond to conservative treatment.
$1.4B
Approximately $1.4 billion of the market is currently unmet.

Current Approach
The existing methods for treating chronic tendon pain are expensive, complex and have variable outcomes. Our approach is to provide a simple, effective tool that can be easily adopted in a physician’s office.
The Ocelot System™ offers an alternative to:
Conservative Treatment
Percutaneous Tenotomy
Open Surgery
"After 15 years of treating elite and recreational athletes for tendinopathy, I have been frustrated by the tools we have had to help heal these injuries. The TendoNova device could be a game changer in getting our athletes back to the healthiest level possible."

Introducing
THE OCELOT SYSTEM™
A microinvasive technology designed to perform fragmentation or debridement of soft tissue, which are commonly used as part of percutaneous tenotomy procedures under ultrasound-guidance.
The Ocelot System™ was conceived in response to a request by Atlanta Hawks head team physician Dr. Kenneth Mautner for an improved tool. The Ocelot System's form factor and price point make it an exciting alternative to existing tools.
Now 510(k) CLEARED. Refer to user manual for indications and safety.

How it works
Bringing surgical-level care to the office.
01
Stimulation
Ocelot System mechanically fragments soft tissue. In certain procedures (most often percutaneous tenotomy), soft tissue with excessive scar tissue is fragmented for a new healing cycle.
02
Activation
Pro inflammatory markers (e.g. macrophages, neutrophils, and cytokines) activate to start upregulation.
03
Upregulation
Proteins and growth factors (e.g. IG-F1, TGFβ, PDGF, bFGF, Interleukin) start expressing in the area.
04
Healing
Soft tissue repairs and remodels itself to a healthy new state.
Why Us
Next-generation technology that meets the needs of physicians, payers, and patients.
Decrease cost of care
Less expensive and invasive than alternative procedures that need to be done in the OR or Ambulatory Surgical Suite

Improve clinical outcomes
We intend to show post market clinical studies that use standardized objective measurements to improve both novice and expert clinician’s outcomes

Improve patient experience
- Reduce time and cost with both office visit or ASC treatment option
- Increase comfort and greater precision than existing tools
- Require less movement inside the body

Improve physician experience
- Wireless, with little set up time
- Objective measurements on which to base and defend clinical decisions
- Economical without sacrificing results
